In an atmosphere filled with fun and educational value, our fifth-grade students engaged with innovative teaching strategies designed to promote constructive and active learning.
The application of the KWL (Know, Want to know, Learned) strategy—a key method for assessing acquired knowledge—was a brilliant step in motivating students to link their prior knowledge with the new lesson: "Dividing a Fraction by a Whole Number." Using these types of strategies encourages critical thinking and allows students to interact more deeply with the curriculum.
